Ryan Giggs wants to keep Manchester Uniteds league title record from Liverpool

Ryan Giggs says Manchester United are not planning on relinquishing their league titles record to Liverpool, adding extra spice to Saturday's clash at Old Trafford. The Reds were 11 title wins ahead of United when Giggs made his debut in 1992, but an astonishing 12 championships later, the Manchester side have won 19, while Liverpool remain on 18. The 38-year-old said: 'They're a club similar to us with a massive history. It's the club we tried to catch for so long and now we've caught them, the challenge is to stay ahead.'
