Ryan Babel's Hoffenheim move from Liverpool breaks down

Staying put: Reds forward Ryan Babel[LNB]Liverpool striker Ryan Babel is staying at Anfield for the time being, manager Kenny Dalglish has confirmed. [LNB]Babel looked as though he was heading for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim after the clubs agreed a fee. However the proposed move has broken down, with Babel earlier indicating he would prefer to join Ajax. [LNB]There is speculation the Dutch side's £20million-rated striker Luis Suarez could be heading for Liverpool but whether Babel might be part of the deal remains to be seen. [LNB]When asked about the player's situation, Dalglish said: 'He is staying here.'[LNB] Dalglish refused to be drawn on whether Liverpool will increase their offer for midfielder Charlie Adam. [LNB]Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston said their Barclays Premier League rivals had made a £4.5million bid on Friday which had been rejected.
