Rumour Mill: Dutch forward to be first signing of 2011?
Roy Hodgson is keen to sign a striker during the transfer window and has set his sights on Dutch international Eljero Elia, according to reports. The 24-year-old Hamburg star would cost Liverpool £10m, but would provide a much-needed boost as the Reds look to rescue their season. However, it is believed that Hodgson would need to offload Ryan Babel before NESV would approve the deal.
