Now that the search for the next liverpool manager is over, new Kop boss Brendan Rogers will have to bring in new players over the summer and according to the Dailymail one of his first signings could be Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The player has yet to complete his medical at Swansea and his £6.8million move from Hoffenheim has not been ratified.

Sigurdsson, who scored 7 times in 18 games while on loan at Swansea last season, had been due to complete his move from parent club Hoffenheim by the end of the week.

The 22-year-old could now delay his decision until he knows who Swansea’s next boss is.
