Unsettled defender John Arne Riise has urged Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez to make an immediate decision on his future.
The Norway international's future at Anfield is in the air following Benitez's decision to bolster his full-back options with the signing of Philipp Degen from Borussia Dortmund and suggestions that Udinese defender Andrea Dossena is next on his hit-list.
Riise was in and out of the starting line-up last season and the 27-year-old is keen to discover whether he has a future on Merseyside.
"My agent is set to find out what is happening," he said.
"I have to get things sorted out before pre-season starts.
"Those who have played internationals are due to meet up on July 7.
"I can't wait and wait for an answer. I have to get an answer now."
Riise joined the Reds from AS Monaco in 2001 and has made over 230 appearances for the club.
