Liverpool reserves ended their season with a draw. The reserves finished their season in third place after a 2-2 draw with Man Utd at Anfield last night. Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Cole scored the Reds' goals with Shelvey's performance praised by his coach. "Shelvey demonstrated his quality and he had a fantastic game," said reserve team boss Pep Segura. "He wants to grow as a player and play for the first team. He was focused and he was a good example for our young players. "We could have won the game but maybe a draw was a fair result. "Manchester United played well, sometimes we played well but we were disappointed to concede a late goal."
