Reina's agent insists Liverpool keeper is going nowhere

Pepe Reina's agent has come out and quashed the speculation surrounding the goalkeeper's future at Liverpool, insisting he is NOT set to leave the club.

The Spanish keeper has had a poor start to the season, making costly mistakes in the opening games of the new season against Manchester City, Arsenal and Hearts.

This has led to suggestions that Brendan Rodgers is considering a move for Swansea shot-stopper Michel Vorm.

Reina's agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, has stressed the goalkeeper, who signed for Liverpool from Villarreal in 2005, is committed at Anfield.

"There is no problem right now," he told Calciomercato. "Pepe has played many games in the Liverpool shirt and is used to all kinds of rumours.

"It is clear he is not having an easy time because the team has not started the season well and liability is falling on him.

"But this will end when he returns to form. He still has four years to run on his contract and rumours of leaving Liverpool are just that - rumours."
