Reina thanks team mates

Pepe Reina has thanked his team mates for helping him reach another club shut-out record. Reina kept his 100th clean sheet against Aston Villa on Monday night, taking only 198 games to reach that milestone, 19 games quicker than previous club record holder Ray Clemence. Typically modest, Reina was quick to share the praise with his defenders. "A record is nice to achieve but it is down to the enormous teammates I've had for the last five and a half years," he said. "So I am pleased but at the same time thankful to them. "We showed more consistency and more focus from the first minute against Villa. That is something we lacked. Now we have to keep that."
