Reina praised

Roy Hodgson has praised Pepe Reina. Hodgson has sung the praises of Reina as the goalkeeper looks to earn his 100th clean sheet for the Reds this afternoon. Should he get it it will be another club record for the Spaniard. Ray Clemence currently holds the club record, taking only 217 games to reach 100 clean sheets. At the moment Pepe Reina has kept 99 clean sheets in 196 games. "It says something about Pepe and the team's defensive record, which over the years has been very good," said the boss. "The team defended well under Rafael Benitez and has always been a difficult team to beat and not one that concedes many goals. I'm sure Pepe will be the first to pay credit to that - but he's also made lots of very, very important saves along the way. "I'm sure he'd like to have that record and we'll do everything we can as a team to help him."
