Reds ready to bounce back
Liverpool are looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season. The Reds are looking to put last week's defeat to Stoke behind them by beating Spurs at White Hart Lane on Sunday. "The performances have been very, very good so far," said Kenny Dalglish. "It's only 45 minutes in the second half against Sunderland - that is the least effective we've been. But it was by no way, shape or form a bad performance by us though. We've been happy with the way the players have gone about their work. "With a little bit of luck we could have been sitting there with more points but we'll just get on with it. "There are lots of things for everybody to be happy about. The supporters, the staff, the players - everybody. As we always say, if we stick together we are going to be a formidable unit. "That's the most important thing, for everybody to stick together. If we lose a game we have to stick together. There is a disappointment which is good, but no-one is walking around with a petty lip or feeling sorry for themselves. "They've trained well all week and I'm sure they will go into the game on Sunday in the right frame of mind and with the right attitude."
