Reds linked with Silvestre

Liverpool have been linked with Matias Silvestre. Apparently the Reds have expressed an interest in Catania's Argentinian defender. "Top of the list of those moving on is Silvestre. I'd struggle to keep him here, considering what a great player he is. There are two Italian clubs tracking him, but Liverpool and Villarreal are also interested in Silvestre," Catania's general manager Pietro Lo Monaco told Italian newspaper Itasportpress.
