Reds in for Clichy

Liverpool have made a suprise £5m bid for Arsenal's Gael Clichy. Clichy has only 12 months left on his Arsenal contract and has refused to sign a new deal at the Emirates. Liverpool are keen to sign the left-back and are hoping the presence of Damien Comolli, who brought Clichy to Arsenal, can persuade the French international to move to Anfield.
