Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Peter Crouch broke his nose during Saturday's 4-0 victory over Sheffield United.
The England striker was caught in the face by the boot of Blades hitman Rob Hulse and was replaced by Dirk Kuyt after just 23 minutes of a one-sided game at Anfield.
"Crouch has a broken nose and needed stitches but it's not serious," Benitez told the club's official website.
"He's okay and I spoke to him after the game."
Meanwhile, Liverpool have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Andriy Voronin to bring the Ukraine international midfielder to Anfield.
Voronin will complete a free transfer switch from Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season after agreeing personal terms at Anfield.
The 27-year-old has previously played for Cologne, Mainz and Borussia Moenchengladbach and has 40 international caps.
