Reds to move for Wolves ace

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a £10m move to try and land Wolves striker Kevin Doyle before the transfer window shuts. Boss Mick McCarthy is determined to keep hold of his star men at the club and Doyle, who was on target in the 2-0 win over Fulham on Sunday, certainly falls into that bracket. But Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a massive offer to try and tempt him away from Molineux. It is unlikely that McCarthy will be tempted by any offer as Doyle is key to Wolves' Premier League ambitions, but reports suggest that will not stop Kenny Dalglish, backed by the club's American owners, making a move for the Irishman.
