Reds sign youth pair
Liverpool have signed Kristoffer Peterson and Youse Mersin. Sixteen year old Swedish striker Peterson impressed while on trial at Anfield earlier this year. He has finally signed for the Academy from Savedalens IF after receiving international clearance. Mersin, who is also sixteen, joins Liverpool's Academy from Millwall. The goalkeeper has already represented Turkey at Under 16's and Under 17's level. Although both players have agreed terms with the Reds, the signings won't be formally completed until the transfer window re-opens on January 1st.
