Reds open talks with duo

Liverpool have apparently opened preliminary contract talks with Pepe Reina and Fernando Torres. According to today's Independent NESV are concerned about the release clause in both players' contracts and so want to negotiate new deals for the pair with such a clause removed. There is no indication either player wants to leave and NESV are hopeful of doing a deal as the release clauses were only put into Reina and Torres's contracts as both players were sick of the lies George Gillette and Tom Hicks kept coming out with. With those liars gone, Liverpool's future looks much brighter and remaining at Anfield is a lot more appealing to players.
