Reds name league squad

Liverpool have submitted their squad for Premier League games. Under new guidelines for this season clubs can only name a 25 man squad which must include eight homegrown players. Homegrown players are those, of any nationality, who have been affiliated with the FA or FAW for three seasons or 36 months prior to their 21st birthday. The squad can also be supplemented by an unlimited number of players under the age of 21. Liverpool have named a 21 man squad which is as follows: Home Grown Players: Jamie CarragherJoe ColeStephen DarbySteven GerrardGlen JohnsonBrad JonesPaul KoncheskyJay Spearing Non home grown players: Daniel AggerFabio AurelioRyan BabelMilan JovanovicDirk KuytSotirios KyrgiakosLucas LeivaRaul MeirelesChristian PoulsenPepe ReinaMaxi RodriguezMartin SkrtelFernando Torres Since they are under the age of 21 the likes of Daniel Pacheco, Martin Kelly, Jonjo Shelvey, Danny Wilson, Nathan Ecclestone, David Ngog etc don't have to be part of the named squad but can play in the league games any time they are required.
