Reds end jinx
Liverpool have ended their Monday night jinx. The Reds finally won a televised game on a Monday night yesterday evening. Prior to the 4-1 win over Portsmouth, Rafael Benitez's sides had been unable to win a Monday game on either ESPN or Setanta. Yesterday's excellent performance was a fine way to bring an end to a jinx that has seen embarassing results like last week's defeat at Wigan and a 3-1 home defeat to Aston Villa only five months after beating them 5-0.
