Rafa fires warning to rivals

Rafael Benitez believes Liverpool have sent out a message to the rest of their title rivals following Saturday's 2-1 victory over Manchester United.
The Reds bounced back from conceding an early opener to bag all three points courtesy of a Wes Brown own goal and a second-half strike from substitute Ryan Babel.
But after securing his first Premier League victory over the Old Trafford club during his four years at the helm of the Merseysides, Benitez fired a warning to the rest of the teams expected to challenge for the title this season.
"One thing that we needed to improve was our results against the top sides, so now we have three points and we are in a better position than last season," said the Spaniard.
"We now have more wins against the top four so hopefully it will be the same against Chelsea and Arsenal. Everton is also another difficult game for us."
Speaking about the performance, he added: "I think today is a game we can be really satisfied with because we were losing against a very good team.
"But we showed character and played very well in the second half, so this was very positive.
"We didn't make many mistakes today. We can always improve and do things better, but the team played well."
