Rafa Benitez believes Liverpool's emphatic victory over Manchester United can pave for other sides to claim points against the champions.[LNB] It has been a memorable week for Benitez's Reds after first they put four past Real Madrid to reach the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, before surpassing Wednesday's win with a 4-1 battering of United at Old Trafford.[LNB]Liverpool's biggest win over their bitter rivals since 1936 has halted Sir Alex Ferguson's side from all but securing the Premier League, but Benitez knows other results must go his way to snatch the title.[LNB]The odds remain long for the Spaniard, but one straw Benitez can clutch at is that in inflicting upon United their first league defeat since November, Liverpool have proved Ferguson's team are beatable.[LNB]And the Reds boss is confident teams like Aston Villa, Arsenal and Manchester City can all provide him with favours as he bids to end Liverpool's 19-year wait for the title.[LNB]"We have shown the way," said Benitez.[LNB]"United have been playing with so much confidence. At least people will now see that they can lose.[LNB]"The message is there for everyone. In attack they are fantastic. You can see the quality they have. But in defence they have some weaknesses and we tried to exploit them."[LNB]
