Rafa refusing to concede title

Rafa Benitez believes Liverpool are still capable of pipping Manchester United to the Premier League title. The Reds currently sit three points adrift of their North West rivals, having played a game more, and with just three fixtures left to play. Liverpool will not be giving up without a fight, though, especially as United still have some tricky fixtures to negotiate. Next up for Sir Alex Ferguson's men is a derby date with Manchester City on Sunday and Benitez believes that is the kind of contest which could open to the door to his side. "Every week is another opportunity for us," said the Spaniard. "We can get three points in each game, so we have to do our job. My plan is to get three points, keep working, keep pushing and then see what happens. "We think that it could be difficult for them (against City), but United are a good team, with good players. We have to win all our games and hope." Belief Benitez insists confidence within the Anfield camp remains high and he is adamant that a 19-year wait for England's top flight title could come to an end this term. "We have won a lot of games at the end, but we have drawn a lot of games too. You never know and we are in a good position," he added. "We are really pleased and the spirit is fantastic and we will push until the end. "Maybe something will happen in the future but, with this team, we have to believe something can happen this year."
