Rafa hails 'Mr Duracell'

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has assured Dirk Kuyt he will always be in his starting line-up after likening him to the Duracell Bunny. Benitez is expected to make a number changes to his Liverpool squad this summer, but it appears a new right-sided winger will not be on his wanted list as the Spaniard is delighted with the contribution of Kuyt. Kuyt has been transformed from a striker to a right-sided wide-man by Benitez in the last two seasons and the Dutchman has been an unsung hero in the role. The former Feyenoord man has scored 14 goals this term and has arguably enjoyed his best season for the Reds and Benitez admits the player's unbelievable work ethic means he is unlikely to drop him. Mr Duracell "You could call him Mr Duracell, because of the way he plays, always running and always on the go," Benitez told the Daily Telegraph. "But we knew when we signed him that he was that sort of player, because he has been doing it for years. "He's done really well this year, creating things and scoring goals, but maybe that is because the team is doing better. "You can use him in so many different ways so you can pretty much guarantee he will be in the starting line-up."
