RAFA BENITEZ hailed Fernando Torres after the striker's brace against Sunderland saw him reach 20 goals for the season.[LNB]Torres opened the scoring after just two minutes to give Liverpool the upper hand at Anfield yesterday.[LNB]He then fired a second just before the hour after Glen Johnson had double the lead before the break.[LNB]The Spaniard displayed clinical finishing as he kept his head in a crowded penalty area to pass the ball into the net. But it was his first that really captured the imagination.[LNB]With two defenders to beat, Torres found space to curl the ball over keeper Craig Gordon from a tight angle just inside the area.[LNB]'This is one of his best goals but I also liked the second one,' said the Liverpool manager.[LNB]'He stayed calm. He showed it's not just about a good strike but sometimes about doing the right thing at the right moment too. Both goals for me were good.'[LNB]Torres has missed a large part of t he season through injury. Now Benitez is hoping he can stay fit until the end of the season.[LNB]Benitez was also pleased with Maxi Rodriguez as the Argentinian put in his best performance since moving to Anfield from Atletico Madrid in January.[LNB]'If Fernando can stay fit he will be very important for us,' he said.[LNB]'With two games a week now it is important that we can change systems and tactics while trying to keep the tempo.
