Rafael Benitez[LNB]RAFA BENITEZ will be keeping a close eye on the weekend's results to see if Liverpool's fading Champions League hopes remain alive.[LNB]The Reds face West Ham at Anfield on Monday night.[LNB]By then they could be nine points behind Manchester City, who face Manchester United at Eastlands today.[LNB]Fifth placed Tottenham are just a point behind City but also have a tough game this afternoon as they play host to league leaders Chelsea.[LNB]Benitez knows that should both City and Spurs lose, maximum points against the Hammers will put Liverpool within touching distance of their rivals again.[LNB]Successive draws against Birmingham and Fulham mean Liverpool's destiny is out of their hands.[LNB]But where there is a chance there is hope for Benitez.[LNB]'In football everything can change from one week to the next,' said the Reds boss.[LNB]'Again, this weekend could be crucial for all the teams challenging for fourth place.[LNB]'There are some important games before we play West Ham. Then we will have to win our match.
