Rafa Benitez 300[LNB]RAFA BENITEZ today bullishly predicted Liverpool's counter attacking prowess will see them through to the Europa League's last 16.[LNB]The Reds will defend a 1-0 lead when they tackle a potentially problematic second leg against Unirea Urziceni here in Bucharest this evening.[LNB]Having found things hard going when meeting the Romanian champions at Anfield last week, some believe a Liverpool side that has been lacking goals will struggle to progress.[LNB]Benitez, though, is in an upbeat mood ahead of the game, as he has backed his players to exploit the unfamiliar demands that will be placed upon Unirea.[LNB]While they showed themselves to be a competent defensive unit, Unirea did not attack with any conviction and if the same happens tonight, it will play into Liverpool's hands.[LNB]'You have to be confident,' said Benitez. 'We could have scored two or three more goals last week but it did not happen for us. It was one of those things.[LNB]'But the score is not bad. Normally (Unirea) are stronger at home but they do not tend to score too many goals. They are not an attacking team[LNB]'If they push - and I think they will have to do that - then we will have more space and we can be more dangerous on the counterattack. We didn't have much space last week.[LNB]'We had chances but their goalkeeper was really good and made some excellent saves; when you cannot score, in Europe you have to keep a clean sheet.
