Liverpool defender Steve Finnan is at a loss to explain why the Reds' recent form has been so poor.
Since thrashing Derby County 6-0 at the beginning of September, Rafa Benitez's side have been held to draws by Portsmouth, Derby County and Tottenham, with their only three-point haul came in unconvincing fashion against Wigan Athletic.
Liverpool have also taken only one point from Champions League matches against FC Porto and Marseille, and the results have baffled Finnan.
The Republic of Ireland international admitted: "It's half-a-dozen games now where we've produced poor performances, but we've got some big games coming up and we've got to get back to the form we were showing earlier in the season.
"There's a feeling of overall disappointment because we didn't play well again (against Spurs) and conceding two goals either side of half-time made it difficult for us.
"But it's still early days and we're still unbeaten in the league.
"We're still getting results, even though we're not playing well - apart from Wednesday night (against Marseille) obviously - and that will help our confidence."
