On-loan striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle is keen to turn his stay with Recreativo Huelva into a permanent one in the summer.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has netted eight goals in 18 appearances for Huelva this season, having moved to Spain after an unproductive stint in England with Liverpool.
However, despite failing to start many games in recent weeks, Sinama-Pongolle seems keen on an extended stay in La Liga.
He said: "If I have not been in the starting eleven for the last few weeks it's because of the competition we have here.
"Here you have to wait for your opportunity and I hope to have demonstrated to the coach that he can count on me.
"I am happy here, but my future depends on an agreement between Huelva and Liverpool."
