Poll: Do we field a weakened side?

Forum regular redsam asks the big question ahead of Liverpool's game with Chelsea... Opinion seems fairly evenly split. Do we field a weakened side against Chelsea in our next home game, or do we go for all 3 points and potentially allow Utd to finally overtake our proud league record? On one side, we have our integrity and the argument that there's no guarantee Utd would still win the league (think back to Blackburn in '95). Some say we've had 2 decades to reach 19 and we couldn't do it. Further, 1 game doesn't make a season and if Utd do reach 19 then they'll have deserved it over the course of the season. On the other side is the argument that we'll no longer be the most successful English club as far as the league is concerned. In 1990 barely anyone would've believed the day would come when our record would go. Adding to this, is the question of 4th place. It's not mathematically impossible and stranger things have happened. But for me, it went some weeks back. Should we make the EL our priority, particularly when it represents our last chance for silverware this season? If that's the case, then Rafa should rightfully give some of the youth players a chance and blood them. Perhaps opinion will remain split until next weekend's results.
