Plessis and El Zhar head to Greece

iverpool have sold Damien Plessis to Greek outfit Panathinaikos for an undisclosed fee, while Nabil El Zhar has been loaned to PAOK.[LNB] Plessis, 22, moves to the Trifylli after failing to break into Roy Hodgson's first-team plans.[LNB]The Frenchman arrived at Anfield from Lyon in the summer of 2007 but failed to force his way into the Reds midfield, featuring just eight times and scoring one goal.[LNB]Meanwhile, winger El Zhar has joined PAOK Thessaloniki on a season-long loan.[LNB]The Morocco international was only a bit-part player under Rafa Benitez, arriving on Merseyside from St Etienne in 2006 but playing only 32 times.[LNB]El Zhar, 24, has not featured at all for Hodgson since he took over.[LNB]Reserve team midfielder Vincent Weijl has completed a transfer to SD Eibar.
