Javier Mascherano 300[LNB]IT made me cringe to see Javier Mascherano refusing to turn out for Liverpool at Manchester City on Monday night.[LNB]He let the side down, the club down and the Kop down. [LNB]Big time.[LNB]It was a dream come true for me to pull on the red shirt, as it has been for so many locals lads - not to mention plenty of others from Britain and abroad. [LNB] And he turns his back on it.[LNB]Ok so he wants away. [LNB]But to refuse to play while he remains a Liverpool player is totally unacceptable and frankly sickening. [LNB]I hope he is fined and if he continues to refuse to play, that the fines keep on coming his way.[LNB]It's all a great shame because he is a top player who has come on leaps and bounds at Liverpool.
