Pepe Reina commits long-term future to Liverpool with new six-year contract

Liverpool have been handed an almighty boost with the news goalkeeper Pepe Reina has signed a new six-year deal with the club. [LNB]The Spaniard has persistently excelled between the sticks at Anfield and is widely regarded as one of the best in his position in the Premier League. [LNB]The 27-year-old said: 'I'm delighted to sign a new contract. It's probably the best news of my life that I'll be here for the next six years. Me and my family are really happy here.[LNB] Reina in Espana: Liverpool's No 1 will likely be Spain's No 2 at the World Cup[LNB]'To play for Liverpool is very special. I've been here for five years and now I will be here for six more and it's very exciting.[LNB]'It's very important that my family love it here as well, as family life is just as important as my career.[LNB]'My wife told me from the beginning she was more than happy here.
