Michael Owen believes defender Jamie Carragher can still cut it at international level after he was linked with a recall to the England squad.[LNB] Three Lions boss Fabio Capello is rumoured to be considering calling the Liverpool defender out of the wilderness after he retired from England duty three years ago.[LNB]The 32-year-old is thought to have had a change of heart and could be named in Capello's 30-man training squad on Tuesday, in preparation for this summer's World Cup.[LNB]Owen, who played alongside Carragher for Liverpool and England, insists his former team-mate can still be relied upon to deliver the goods when it matters.[LNB]"Jamie has been there and done it for club and country," he said.[LNB]"Whether he goes or not, he would be one of the last people you would worry about depending on."[LNB]Owen himself was hoping to mount a push to be recalled to the England squad but an injury in the Carling Cup final earlier in the season put all ambitions on the backburner.
