This young fan has a heart-felt message for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling as the Reds line up against Blackburn in the FA cup quarter-final replay.
The sign is filled with optimism and reads “I hope your dreams are with Liverpool”.
It’s likely to refer to revelations by Sterling that he turned down a £100,000-a-week deal at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old Reds forward has come under fire following a television interview in which he attempted to defend his decision to turn down such an eye-watering figure.
For now, contract negotiations with Sterling have been put on hold until the summer as Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool bid to win the FA Cup to save a season looks unlikely to end with them in the top four of the Barclays Premier League.
