After being unhappy at reportedly joining Tottenham as part of the deal for Luka Modric, the Midfielder has opted to join Liverpool on loan for the season.
The Turkish international, has apparently been swayed by ex-Liverpool player Xabi Alonso into joining the club, and has held talks with Liverpool officials and agreed to join the squad after international duty.
Oliver Kay from The Times announced that the official statement from the club on the capture of Sahin would be out tonight or tomorrow.
