No way, Jose! Mourinho rules out 'impossible' job swap with Benitez

Jose Mourinho has brushed off reports that he could replace beleaguered Rafael Benitez as Liverpool manager. The Inter Milan manager almost joined the Reds before joining Chelsea from Porto in 2004. But the 46-year-old says that landing the Anfield post now would be 'impossible'. In a twist, Italian press reports say Benitez is being lined up to replace the self-styled 'Special One' at the San Siro. Mourinho remains unloved by many in Italy and is a pantomime villian in the media. His job security has been called into doubt despite leading champions Inter to the top of the league after eight games this season. However, as his predecessor found, success at home is not the only factor in keeping hold of the Inter job. Mourinho has come under pressure following a 2-2 home draw against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League this week which leaves Inter bottom of their Champions League group with three points from three matches.
