No Palace move for Sakho

Jurgen Klopp denies that Crystal Palace have an option to buy Mamadou Sakho at the end of his loan spell.

The French defender famously fell out with the Liverpool boss last summer and, after being dropped from the first team, was loaned out in January.

Having been in impressive form for the Eagles, manager Sam Allardyce has hinted that they may be willing to sign him on a permanent deal.

But Klopp was insistent that he expects Sakho to return to the Reds at the end of the season.

“There is no clause in the loan contract,” he told reporters on Thursday.
