Ngog wants revenge

David Ngog wants revenge on Blackpool after their 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield earlier in the season. The Blackpool defeat back in October was a sickening blow to a team already disheartened because of the ownership saga and struggling to adapt to new manager Roy Hodgson's tactics, training methods and formation. With Liverpool playing better football now (although not away from Anfield so much) Ngog is hopeful of getting revenge on the Seasiders. "That defeat was a bad result, especially with it being at home and we want to prove we can do better and win this game," said the striker. "The team wasn't so confident and we didn't play very well but I think we are a different team now to that game. We are a lot better and more confident and we hope we can show that on Boxing Day. "Blackpool have done really well this season. They have played some good football and they have shown they can surprise any team on their day. "They are a tough team and but if we play well then I'm sure we can beat them. "I enjoy the Boxing Day game. It's good for the families to get the chance to go with their kids and watch a match together and there is always a great atmosphere."
