New buyer in for Reds?

Keith Harris claims a new buyer is set to make an offer for Liverpool FC. Harris, who has played a part in the sale of Aston Villa, West Ham and Manchester City in the past, claims an overseas buyer has already completed due dilligence and is set to make an offer for the Reds. "The overseas buyer we represent has completed due diligence. A huge amount of work has been done," said the former Football League chairman. "It is none of the groups mentioned in the press. The ball is now in our client’s court to make an offer. "I do not think the deal will be done before the transfer window closes this month but the next pressure point is October when some of the RBS loan of £237million has to be repaid. "It may happen then. But in the present climate these things are impossible to predict." It is hard to take Harris seriously after he appeared on Sky Sports News and claimed the club was undervalued during Kenny Huang's attempt to buy the club earlier this month. If Harris's buyer was serious why would Orville's mate be claiming the Reds should be sold for a higher price?
