    Momo blow rocks Reds

    09 Nov 2006 - 08:07:09

Liverpool will be without Mohamed Sissoko for at least four weeks after the midfielder dislocated his shoulder in the Carling Cup victory over Birmingham City.

The combative midfielder fell awkwardly during the 1-0 victory over the Championship club and faces another spell on the sidelines.

Last season the Mali international suffered a serious eye injury that kept him out for five weeks.

"We don't know for how long he will be out but it may be for quite some time," admitted Reds boss Rafa Benitez.

"He has dislocated his shoulder. It will be maybe more than one month. I hope not but I think it is serious.

"He is unlucky with injuries, especially with the kind of injuries he has sustained - his eye last season and now the shoulder."
