Milan Jovanovic vowing to return to form
MILAN JOVANOVIC today promised he will work overtime to recapture the sparkling form that set up his dream move to Liverpool - so he can become 'the happiest man in the world' again.
The Serbian international has made a solid rather than spectacular start to life in the Premier League and his enthusiasm and tenacity has struck a chord with supporters.
However, Jovanovic is frustrated he has not been able to make a significant contribution to Liverpool's attack so far and he is still awaiting his first goal in a Red shirt. He is likely to get a chance to rectify that on Thursday evening, when Liverpool face Steaua Bucharest in their opening Europa League match at Anfield.
But while he believes his performance in the 0-0 draw with Birmingham on Sunday was a step in the right direction, Jovanovic will not rest until he is at the levels he showed for Standard Liege.
