Meireles settled

Raul Meireles believes he has now adapted to English football. Meireles admitted the pace of the English game took a bit of getting used to (and being stuck out on the right of midfield can't have helped) but is confident he is now getting to grips with it, as evidenced against West Ham at the weekend. "I know the team did not start so well when I first signed but you have seen glimpses of what we can do during the recent four game winning run," said our number 4. "We lost a couple but we got it back against West Ham. "The Premier League is difficult and it has been difficult playing in England because all the teams you come up against are good. "This is more competitive but I am feeling more comfortable. "When you are winning, things are always better and all the players are helping me. "We played some very good football against West Ham. "We will continue to work hard and I hope my performances can keep improving."
