Mata interest confirmed by agent

Juan Mata's father and agent says the Valencia star is wanted by clubs outside Spain, with Arsenal and Liverpool both reportedly interested.[LNB] The talented winger, who helped his country to Under-21 glory in the European Championships this summer having previously been part of the senior squad which clinched World Cup glory in South Africa, is under contract until 2015.[LNB]But he has been tipped for a move away from the Mestalla this summer with Real Madrid and Barcelona also believed to be monitoring his situation.[LNB]Mata has admitted he is not looking to leave Los Che, who will be playing Champions League football next season, but it has now been revealed that tentative approaches have been made. [LNB]Mata's father, Juan senior, admitted that Valencia will now decide whether to part with the gifted youngster, who is currently on a break after his international commitments. [LNB]He is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror: "There have been calls from foreign clubs - but now the final decisions rests with Valencia and he is on his holidays."
