Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has insisted the pressure isall on Liverpool as the two clubs prepare to meet in Sunday's crucialPremier League clash at Eastlands.
City went into fourth place with Tuesday's draw at Stoke, and are a point clear of the Merseysiders with a game in hand.
Reflecting on the result at Stoke, Lescott said: 'That's a massive one.
'We knew it going into the game at Stoke and we've known for a while how big that one would be.
'It'sin our hands now going into the final stretch of the season and that'sthe way you want it to be. It's huge for us that we're going into thatgame above them now thanks to this result.
'At the start of the season we wanted to get into the Champions League and we still believe we can do that.
'Butpersonally I believe all the pressure will be on them. We're a pointahead with a game in hand. We don't want to let them back in.
'If we can win on Sunday then it really will stand us in good stead for the rest of the season.'
