Lucas wants goals at Liverpool

Lucas Leiva is relishing his more creative role in Liverpool's midfield under Jurgen Klopp and wants to score more goals.

The Brazilian claimed an assist for Emre Can's wonder goal against Watford on Monday night but hasn't scored a Premier League goal since 2009.

“We have worked a lot on movement in training,” he told the Echo.

“I’m trying to improve and add these things to my game and hopefully next will come goals.

"I know what the manager wants from me and he wants me to improve on assists, and I think I’ve been doing well on assists, so that’s quite good.”
