Lucas in action against Spurs 300[LNB]LUCAS is backing Liverpool team-mate Fernando Torres to come out on top in his striking shootout with Wayne Rooney at Old Trafford tomorrow.[LNB]The Spaniard's four goals in two games this week has taken his tally for the season to 17 ahead of the showdown with Manchester United.[LNB]Rooney has been in stunning form himself with 32 goals, including 17 in his last 13 appearances, but Lucas insists he wouldn't swop Torres for anyone.[LNB]'Fernando has shown his quality and we're very happy to have him playing at this level,' the Brazilian midfielder said.[LNB]'Now we hope Fernando keeps fit until the end of the season. If he does then we know he will score a lot of goals for us.[LNB]'Of course Rooney is on fire. He is one of the best players in the world at the moment and we have to be aware and try to mark him really well.[LNB]'But we have Fernando and Stevie (Gerrard) who are playing really well for us now.[LNB]'As a team our last two performances have been really good and that means we'll be going into the United game with a lot of confidence.'
