Liverpool's Danish international Christian Poulsen has signed a one-year deal with Evian, the French first division side announced Wednesday.
The 31-year-old joined Liverpool in August 2010 but failed to secure a regular place in the side, playing in only 12 matches.
Poulsen, a defensive midfielder, has previously played for Schalke 04, FC Sevilla and Italian giants Juventus.
He arrived at Evian on a free transfer.
