It's that man once again, Liverpool's star striker Luis Suarez, who makes it a hat-trick of FTBpro PFA Fan's Player of the Month awards this season after having previously won the award in October and November.

It seems the Uruguayan just can't stop scoring and is currently the Premier League's top scorer by quite a distance, having scored 23 goals in the English top flight. With his nearest competitor, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, sitting in second place with 15 goals.

The 27-year-old wasted no time in getting on the score sheet in 2014 with a wonderful free-kick scored against Hull at Anfield, helping Liverpool to a 2-0 win.

An 8-goal thriller at The Britannia in the following Premier League game boosted Suarez' goal tally, netting a brace as Liverpool ran out 5-3 winners to maintain their top four challenge.

"It was a brilliant win, Liverpool had never won here in the Premier League and we all know why, it's a notoriously difficult place to play, but I want to give immense credit to the players," Rodgers said after the match.

Next up for Suarez & Co came Paul Lambert's young Aston Villa side who raced into a 2-0 lead within 40 minutes at Anfield. Sturridge pulled a goal back on the cusp of half-time but Suarez' determination to get an equaliser saw him fouled in the box by Brad Guzan resulting in a penalty, scored by Gerrard to tally things up at 2-2.

Suarez displayed a selfless performance against Bournemouth in the FA Cup Fourth Round in which he provided 2 assists for his team-mates as they progressed comfortably into the next round with a 2-0 win.

Everton travelled the short distance to Anfield for the famous Merseyside Derby in Liverpool's last match of January. In which Luis Suarez contributed an assist and goal to complete a 4-0 rout of their local rivals.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been talking up the in-from striker saying "He [Suarez] has shown in his time at Liverpool in the last year or so that he is near unplayable.

"He on his own can occupy a back four with his movement and his cleverness."
