Liverpool's Kenny Dalglish hails Steven Gerrard as one of the best ever

Kenny Dalglish has hailed Steven Gerrard as one of the finest players in Liverpool's history ahead of his return to action from suspension. [LNB]Gerrard is set to return to the Reds' starting line-up after serving a three-match ban following his red card in the FA Cup third-round defeat at Manchester United - Dalglish's first match in charge after taking over as caretaker boss. [LNB]And Dalglish, himself heralded as 'King Kenny' and worshipped by the Kop faithful for his previous stint as a player and manager at Anfield, is delighted to have Liverpool's present-day talisman back available. [LNB] Seeing red: Gerrard has been hailed by Dalglish but was sent off in the FA Cup defeat at Manchester United - the Scot's first game back in charge of the Reds[LNB]Dalglish said: 'We had a great result and performance at Molineux on Saturday and we've got a very difficult game coming up against Fulham on Wednesday, so for us to have Steven back on the back of the performance and result we got at the weekend is a great boost for everybody.'
