liverpool look to sign Fiorentinas Juan Manuel Vargas

Reports from the sun are claiming that Liverpool are in negotiations with Fiorentina to try and sign Peruvian midfielder Juan Manuel Vargas. The Serie A club recently rejected an £8million bid from Bayern Munich for the versatile 27-year-old but seem to have changed their minds and are willing to negotiate. Vargas can play in a number of positions, including left-back and in midfield, but prefers playing on the wing, which has been a problematic position to field in the new look Liverpool squad.
