Nevertheless, LFC's community manager Matt Owen, who runs the Facebook site, is also toasting another social networking success - the club's Twitter feed has almost three times as many followers as its nearest rivals. More than 55,500 loyal fans catch up with LFC news using the micro-blogging site, which allows users to post messages of up to 140 characters. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Arsenal has around 17,400 followers and Chelsea has more than 17,500. Everton, which tweets at twitter.com/YourEverton, has around 2,100 followers.
